This course is perfect for students who are curious about artificial intelligence and want to explore how today’s AI tools create text, images, music, and more. Instruction blends guided exploration and discussion as students try out a variety of beginner-friendly AI activities and learn how people use these tools in everyday life. Along the way, they build confidence by seeing how AI works, why it matters, and how it is changing the technology they use.

Students experiment with text, image, and music generators, practice writing prompts to improve results, and train a simple machine-learning model using Teachable Machine. They learn about famous AI breakthroughs, explore real-world examples, and talk through age-appropriate ethical questions about when AI is helpful and when it can cause problems. Midway through the session, students begin planning and testing a simple custom AI agent that they design themselves.

At the end of the course students take home digital copies of their projects and leave with a clearer sense of what AI can do, how to use it responsibly, and how to keep exploring these tools with creativity and confidence.
