In-Person SAT Prep

The Smart Choice for SAT Prep

Students require an in-person course when preparing for the SAT. It may sound easier to run to the store and grab a commercial prep book or take quizzes in Khan Academy, but most students lack the discipline to teach themselves the necessary concepts and strategies.

What students need is structured guidance from an experienced instructor, and Fairfax Collegiate is the leading provider of test prep courses.

Fairfax Collegiate: In-Person SAT Prep courses give students the resources to pinpoint their weak areas and create their own study plans to practice strategies and concepts outside of class as well. Students build their accuracy in every skill that's on the SAT; they learn the same concepts and strategies that they would find in other test prep courses, but for up to half the cost!

With our emphasis on helping students become more self-sufficient in their test prep and the value we provide at a fraction of the cost, Fairfax Collegiate: In-Person SAT Prep is the smart choice for a high-quality, in-person experience.

Complete SAT Prep: Students practice problems in every skill on the SAT, both as a class, and individually at the difficulty level that works best for them. By the end of the course, students will have experience solving every type of problem they'll encounter on the SAT and be able to utilize effective strategies for solving them quickly.

SAT Prep: The Hard Problems: Students who are already good test-takers and are looking for an extra challenge exclusively practice with the most difficult questions the SAT can provide. Students work together and inividually to reinforce test-taking strategies and improve their accuracy and speed to take their score to the next level.

PSAT/NMSQT Prep: Much like Complete SAT Prep, students practice problems in every skill covered in the PSAT and work individually at their own pace. Students gain experience in every question type on the PSAT and, by extension, the nearly identical SAT.

Complete ACT Prep: Students prepare for every section of the ACT, including the optional Science and Writing sections, through targeted practice to pinpoint their areas for improvement. Students master strategies that give them a boost in accuracy and speed and learn how to practice these outside of class as well.

Your child needs an in-person class to prepare for these high-stakes tests. They need to learn how to study effectively both in and out of class, all at a good value. Fairfax Collegiate: In-Person SAT Prep courses check these boxes, making them the smart choice for test prep. Click the links above to register for a class near you.

Students prepare for the English, mathematics, reading, science, and writing sections of the ACT test.

The English and reading reviews focus on grammar, style, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. Math review topics include concepts from Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. The science review covers experimental design, and interpreting and making inferences from experimental data.

Students complete 3 practice ACT tests under timed conditions and become familiar with ACT question formats, test scoring, and time-management strategies. Each student receives an evaluation based on their practice test scores that details areas for improvement and provides suggestions for further preparation.

Course materials include the latest version of The Official ACT Prep Guide, which is published by the makers of the exam.
