AAP Math 6

Get a head start on pre-algebra by learning about solving and graphing equations, geometry, and expressions.

AAP Math 6 covers pre-algebra topics that students in the AAP program will encounter before middle school, including: rational and irrational numbers, evaluating expressions, solving equations, proportional and additive relationships, slope and graphing, geometry, volume and surface area, and transformations.

Students take a diagnostic test on the first day of class to help the instructor determine the optimal selection and pacing of topics for their needs.

Each day's schedule includes small-group instruction, individual practice, one-on-one coaching, enrichment, and math games.

If you are looking for an in-person option this summer, please see our Advanced Math 5-6 and Math for Middle School 6-8 courses.
