Matthew Werfel

Matthew is a recent graduate of the Academy of Engineering and Technology and a student at the University of Virginia. He is interested in math and computer science, and is particularly passionate about teaching STEM to young students. He co-founded and developed an online education platform as part of the national INCubator startup competition. Additionally, Matthew has experience as a teacher, small group leader, and tutor in church ministry and school honor society positions. He enjoyed taking Fairfax Collegiate courses in the past, and is excited to return for his second year as an assistant instructor.
