Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?

I attend Kenyon College and am majoring in biology and neuroscience with an English minor. I am a news editor for the Kenyon Collegian and volunteer with ATHENAS/BLAST, a local science outreach program.

What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?

I worked at a preschool for a year and have some experience in one-on-one tutoring.

What subjects have you taught with Fairfax Collegiate in the past?

I've taught with Fairfax Collegiate since 2022, and in that time I've taught writing, math, science, and test prep.

What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?

I've taken many biology lectures and labs, including comparative vertebrate anatomy, ecology, immunology, and more.

What excites you about teaching and working with students?

I enjoy using interactive experiments and projects to make complex concepts and information exciting to students.

Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?

I like cooking, baking, reading, and going to the gym.
