Stanley Liu
Stanley Liu is a rising fourth year undergraduate at the University of Virginia. He will be graduating this December with a B.A. in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Neuroscience and a minor in Chemistry. In Charlottesville, he works in a Parkinson’s Disease research lab and is a member of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad as a state-certified EMT. A native of Fairfax County, he graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in 2007. During his breaks from school, he works part-time as a substitute teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools and has also had experience in the past tutoring students in math and science. After graduating from college, he hopes to attend medical school. This is his fourth summer teaching with the Fairfax Collegiate Summer Program, where he has experience teaching math, computer, and robotics classes.
