Marisa Sprowls is a rising senior double majoring in Psychology and Music at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. She is enthusiastic about her first summer with Fairfax Collegiate teaching Algebra, SAT Prep, and TJ Test Prep.
Ms. Sprowls graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in 2008. She has served as a tutor and mentor to Williamsburg area youth through an internship with Avalon, a shelter for women and children, and Project Phoenix, a W&M tutoring organization. This summer she is teaching private piano and guitar lessons along with her courses at Fairfax Collegiate.
At William & Mary, Ms. Sprowls can be found arranging, rehearsing, and performing a cappella music with The W&M Accidentals at local community events and fundraisers. Over the years, she has performed in nearly twenty plays and musicals, most recently the William & Mary Theatre Department's 2010 mainstage production of Oklahoma!.
