Isabelle Zaugg is an emerging filmmaker who originally hails from Southern Colorado. She is currently working on her MFA in Film and Electronic Media at American University. She earned her undergraduate degree in semiotics (film theory) at Brown University. Her favorite endeavors as a student have been studying abroad in Italy and Ethiopia, and her proudest accomplishment so far is her ten-month-old son Jacob. Isabelle has been teaching middle school and high school students for over eight years, and is excited to share her enthusiasm for filmmaking with Fairfax Collegiate students during summer 2011.
