Alyse Knorr is a graduate of Elon University, where she earned her B.A. in English and journalism in 2009. She is now pursuing her M.F.A. in creative writing (poetry) at George Mason University, where she teaches undergraduate English classes and serves as the poetry editor of the literary journal So to Speak.

This is her second summer teaching at Fairfax Collegiate.
