Video Editing 7-9
Students edit and complete post-production for films shot by students in the Video Production and Acting classes.
Students learn how to edit digital video using Final Cut Express, and how to make editing choices about takes, shot rhythm, sequencing, and transitions.
Topics include capturing and cutting footage, creating sequences, trim and split edits, sound, titles, animating images, compositing, color correction, special effects, and outputting.
Post-production activities include final sound mixing, creating music in Garage Band, and designing DVD menus.
