Fairfax Collegiate Summer 2012

RobotC Programming 7-9

Students learn how to write RobotC programs to control LEGO NXT robots.

RobotC is a dialect of the C programming language and allows advanced control of NXT robots. RobotC programs execute up to 100 times faster than NXT-G programs.

Course topics include the RobotC IDE, RobotC syntax, NXT-RobotC firmware configuration, robot movement, robot sensing, variables, control structures, Boolean logic, and functions.

Projects include the CattBot, the Armored Car, the Catapult, the Revolving Bridge, and the Aerial Screw.
