Architectural Design 5-6
Students learn about architecture and about Google SketchUp, a free digital drafting software package.
Architecture topics include the history of residential architecture, international housing styles, and form and function in residential design. Students practice 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
As a final project, each student creates and presents his or her “dream house” using Google SketchUp.
